About a year ago, I discovered that I was wearing the wrong bra size. I had lost weight and suddenly realized that the joke I was making about being able to store most of my worldly possessions inside my bra was actually becoming increasingly accurate. As useful as that may be, I decided that I needed to get some bras that fit and actually function as they are supposed to. I was astounded to learn that I didn’t wear the 34B that I’d been wearing my entire life, but rather a 30C (which I’m actually a bit surprised about because women I perceive to be far smaller in rib cage size state that they wear a large band size than that–is everyone wearing the wrong bra size? :P). Turns out, not many people actually make a size 30C. High fives, anyone? So I kind of went on an obsessive rampage of buying bras online that I was sure would fit, and when they didn’t I couldn’t be bothered to send them back (i.e., time got away from me, kept forgetting, thought they’d somehow magically fit). In retrospect, that was really stupid.
I’ll be moving to a new apartment this summer and I’m trying to clear out some of the random clothes that I never wear. Right now I’m trying to sell some of these bras that I’ve never worn. I bought most of them online and for one reason or another never bothered to return. I’ll also be selling a few that I used lightly back before I lost weight. If you are around a 30C or 32B or 34B, you might want to check out my listings on ebay.
Lucia, 30c from the Little Bra Company (they make bras for petite women–petite I am not, but apparently my rib cage is??)
